Polaris files trademark for Victory Charger

Polaris has been a strategic investor and partner with Brammo since 2011. Recently, Polaris announced its complete acquisition of Brammo (Polaris Acquires Electric Motorcycle Business From Brammo). Now, Polaris filed a trademark for the name “Victory Charger,” and specifically indicated it’s intended use to be for “Electric motorcycles and structural parts therefor.”

No other information is currently available, but this certainly seems to indicate Polaris’ intention for creating an electric motorcycle under the company’s Victory banner.

“We have enjoyed our involvement with Brammo Motorcycles over the past three years, and our excitement about their industry-leading lithium-ion electric drivetrain technology has increased commensurate with their improvements in cost and performance. Polaris and Brammo share a goal of adding the most advanced and highest capability electric solutions to Polaris’ portfolio of leading powersports products,” said Scott Wine, Polaris Chairman and CEO, during the announcement of Polaris’ acquisition of Brammo.

That would be interesting, plus I wouldn't mind this bike getting a different name aside from "Charger"

Charger is an okay name for the bike IMO. It is a little expected, but since electric bikes are pretty new to the world I think its okay to take some of the low hanging fruit.

it's a great name, common word to be used when it comes to a product like this and could serve another purpose of representing what the bike is which would be between sporty and like a traditional victory bike.

It does have a good double entendre. With the rest of the names that Victory has in its lineup, I think that Charger fits right in. I don't expect them to change it.

exactly
plus they've already gone through a process with the name, filing a trademark and all, so that represents something important about it.
good chance they'll stick by it.
