Zero Motorcycles Gets $1m from California Energy Commission
Victory and Brammo isn't the only electric motorcycle company on the block. Zero Motorcycles just got a nice boost from the California Energy Commission in the form of a $1,009,220 grant to help the company continue to develop and research electric mobility.
That news is compounded with the other good news for Zero that investors are matching the grant, effectively doubling it. The money will invest in continued research and development as well as in expansion and assembly at the company's HQ in Scotts Valley.
Zero is enjoying the quiet before the storm as Brammo has stopped production while things are sorted out with its new owner Polaris.
